Detection Principle
The practical silicon dioxide analyzer is designed and developed based on the authoritative certification method - "Silicon Molybdenum Blue Colorimetric Method" standard. Under a certain acidity, active silicon reacts with ammonium molybdate to form silicon mesh yellow, which is then reduced to silicon molybdenum blue by 1-amino-2-naphthol-4-sulfonic acid. The chromaticity of this blue color is related to the active silicon in water, and its absorbance is measured. After microcomputer calculation, the silicon dioxide content (mg/L) is directly displayed.
